It seems that all we get is bad news... the union said it was 'blindsided' by the city when layoffs were announced. I agree.. no talk, no discussion, just lay the people off... BTW.. the 'sacred cows of city government' the police and fire people didn't get touched, yet they are the problem and should be part of the solution.
