what is going on..
More on the economic crisis...
At work they are talking a one day a month furlough and they say they don't think that will stop layoffs. The city is hurting, sales tax down, gas tax down, property tax down, development has stopped, but of course, police and fire are not part of the sacrifice, they are 'special'.... so all the budget woes will be carried by 25% of the employees. I'm glad I'm out of here in April.
