Operation Northwoods.. a 1962 plot by the United States Military to create public histeria to justify an attack on Cuba.. Yes, the United States military wanted a war and were willing to go to great lengths to get one. They proposed this in 1962  Then you look at what has happened since. Having worked in intelligence, I can say that our government commits dishonorable acts on a daily basis without regard to human rights or any moral code. They have ben doing it since the end of the 19th century. Read the wiki on Northwoods and see if you can see a possible reason why Kennedy was assassinated?
