Well, the powers that be haven't destroyed the planet yet... emphasis on yet... the sun is shining, nit a cloud in the sky.  The weather forecast started this day by warning me that we can expect a severe to moderate winter storm by Friday... a very cold storm. So, I guess the task this week will be to get the wood ahead for warm fires. The weather patterns this year are totally crazy.

I will do another bike ride today, that is after tending to some chores. I'm still adjusting to the time change. Now to get outside and start this day.

Oh, I am very aware of what happens in Gaza, in fact I subscribe to a blog and get updates via an RSS feed. What is happening in Gaza is criminal and we are supplying the weapons and dollars to do this. No, if Israel was wiped off the face of the earth after what they have done in the Mideast, I would not shed a tear.

Non violent action will not solve the Palestinian crisis, it has moved well beyond that point. The Israeli Defense Forces will kill innocent people and even of they are non-violent they will find some way to justify the killing. Remember Rachael Corrie. She was standing to block the destruction of a doctor's house when she was crushed by a Caterpillar bull dozer, made in USA, sold to the Israeli military and it was armor plated. They said, sorry, but the operator didn't see her standing there in her high visibility neon yellow vest... as they crushed her under the tracks of the machine.
