Christmas Day
Dec. 25th, 2001 03:17 pmMerry Christmas everybody. ( I don't think anyone ever reads this)
Another of my infrequest entries. Waiting for my fellow tenant (the person I share this dump with) to pay me the back rent he owes, then I'll deposit the check, and as soon as the check clears, then I'll give him the really really bad news, I'll be moving on or about the 1st of february. This may mean he will be on the street, but I'm getting tired of supporting his ass.
The really good thing is the neighborhood I'm looking at is a class act. I'lll be moving back to where I lived many years ago, Belmont Shore. Then comes the hassle of getting the utilitiees going, getting bandwidth, finding a safe place to keep my car. That should be simple, I say should be. I may have to go to a cable modem, as DSL may be tight in that area. I'll have a new area code, a longer commute to work, a beach close by, multiple starbucks at my disposal. I'll get back on my bike more, maybe find a small sailboat for summer fun. I may be older but I do enjoy fun. The secret to aging well is to never forget what fun means.
Over the next few weeks I have to discard a lot of stuff I have accumulated over the last few years. I got to make my yearly run to Salvation Army to donate clothes, an old cel phone, boxes of computer parts, etc. I have to go through my closet and discard those things that I'll never wear again.
First resolution of the new year, (see how long this lasts), I will ride my bike at least 15 miles a day on the weekend.
Second resolution; I will read more Jungian books by Robert A. Johnson and try to get my personal life together.
Third resolution; I will buy more cd's, as long as they are not encrypted or copy protected. I will stop downloading from Morpheous.
Finally in closing, I will become a better worker bee, I will become a thiner person, I will take more vacations, I wil spend much more time with my stepson from my last marraige.
