deadlines and a test

Week was a blur, many deadlines to meet, missed my training to get things done. Saturday sat for the EIT test, something I don't really need but it would mean a promotion and 5% more in my paycheck which translates to a future fatter retirement check. Still dealing with our last union contract at work, working through some details that were to be discussed later. Its late, not ready for sleep but if not ready to sleep than work may be very rough tomorrow. Did some overtime for the benefit of keeping on the good side of the manager. No real rest this weekend, but maybe next. Got to get back into the habit of posting.

More adventures with RV

Spent part of Saturday afternoon getting an education in RV's from my brother in law. Now know that most items work, the generator won't start, I need to fix a few vents, and get the registration done. That task, visiting the DMV, takes place on Wednesday. Now only if my insurance company would get me the proof of insurance on time.
