Our Dead Sea...

As you may have realized, I drive a lot, and I try to visit unusual places, like our Dead Sea, the Salton Sea... very salty, very large, and full of life (not so dead after all).

the weekend continues...

Another day... was up late last night... in fact I went to bed at dawn. Then it was up at 10 a.m. and on the road. Mom must be entertained, so I live on the highway. Today included Mt. Palomar, Lake Henshaw, Borrego Springs, the Salton Sea, Indian Wells (the Skins Game is this weekend), Palm Desert (yesterday they had a shot out at the Toys 'R Us - two dead), and back to Anza.  Mom was tired and went to bed early.

This was a rest stop after an all night drive from Anza by way of San Jose nd Reno.... when I start driving... I drive.

this is Vegas... about 35 miles north of the strip...

Really... when in Vegas... visit Mt. Charleston

yosemite...

This was another 'road trip' ....
