Right now the wind is working in my favor, moving the smoke east and north as it flows out of Coyote Canyon from the desert. Yes, I'm in the midst of fire season, and the large fire creating havoc here has been named the Eagle fire. It started on the indian reservation of the Los Coyotes band of Native Americans located adjacent to Warner Springs Ranch in San Diego County.
The fire is reported to have started in a military training area run by the company formerly know as Blackwater,,, and it is alleged that several fire incidents have occurred in the last few months at this training facility because of use of tracer ammunition and automatic weapons. This facility is kept from the public eye and is located deep within in the reservation so as to avoid having to deal with rules and regulatoions that San Diego County created to stem another attempt to conduct para-military training by Blackwater. They are using the Sovereign Nation concept of the Indian tribe to keep it from being regulated. Another good example of corporate power, as this company going by the name of Eagle Rock is training police and security personnel to become skilled at the use of automatic weapons and also offers sniper training. It is used by law enforcement from throughout the Southwest. Now that this facility has popped up on everyone's radar, I wonder where they will move to next to train their private armies and militarized police units?
