Voting

I just spent some time reviewing my absentee ballot. The choices are so disappointing I wonder some times what has happened to our country. Even on a local level I'm stuck in a sea of Republicans who vote not for a person but for that letter designating that the candidate is one of them. I looked at the office of governor. You have a lot of names but the only ones I recognized was Cindy Sheehan the woman who protested the Iraq war and Jerry Brown. I guess this time I'm voting for Cindy because Brown has disappointed me too many times in his first term. I'll vote for my local congressman because he has done things I approve of. The rest if the ballot is a crap shoot. Nothing worth noting. Oh, my county supervisor is trying to be a state senator but he won't get my vote. I'll leave the rest if it blank because I'm not going to blindly vote for a candidate I do not know.
