Israel feels threatened..

This op-ed is a good read.  I think the Israelis have a problem and the only solution is treating their neighbors as neighbors and starting to act like humans, not monsters.

that´s as absurd as the US feeling threatened by, say, Iraq.

Oh...

israel has two choices, bomb the entire neighborhood to ashes or dismantle their selfrighteous little fourth reich. my guess? they´ll choose the former.

This is a good article that points out the complexity of the issues. I think that the leaders of both sides need to lead their people to forgive transgressions of the past and meet now in the present with a plan for harmonious living and peace.

Killing each other is not a solution and only escalates more wounds and hate.

At this point the people in this area are living with post traumatic stress. There has to be a way for both sides to come to the conclusion that neither group is going to subdue or eliminate the other, so maybe they could learn to communicate on how to get along.

I agree with Mahatma Gandhi that "An eye for an eye will make the whole world blind."
