The weekend has been passing slowly. Tomorrow morning I make the trek to admitting, check in at 10 a.m., do whatever I need for a scheduled date with the surgeon. I need to a surgical scrub down tonight and tomorrow morning (the joys of ambulatory surgery).
I have my obligatory driver (no driving on drugs allowed and I will be on drugs for the pain). Isn't it fun that medicine has become a supermarket item, you check in, they cut, they sew you up, brief recovery, then they kick you out the door.
I can tolerate pain, and I'll have a week to recover before its back to the grind. Thanks for the Vicodin.
