Writer's Block: On the road again

I would want to travel with John Steinbeck and follow his journey from the book Travels with Charlie.... I too would be in search of America... the America than once was... and is now disappearing in dust and ruin as towns die and the wisdom of the ages disappears beneath gravestones in a neglected cemetery.
