A few words of wisdom... and something to think about. Caring, community, and humanity are qualities that are shared by many religions, and I wonder how many of those in Washington are going to be among the multitudes who will be judged when they try to enter heaven? I hope they are prepared for purgatory.

Those in Washington...

There are those in Washington who want to cut Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. They also want to maintain the subsidies to corporate America. They're stealing from senior citizens, the poor and middle class to do this. They haven't a care in the world about the human consequences of their actions.

As a senior citizen who relies on Social Security and Medicare, I have a vested interest in seeing that this doesn't come to pass, but there's only so much I can do. I'm not very hopeful for the long term, but maybe we'll kick enough of these thieves out in 2012 to make life livable for a few more years.
