Maybe we should look at the Reagan era as a time when Republicans learned to lie. The latest today is the revelation by a former Reagan advisor Bruce Bartlett that the whole idea that deregulation creates jobs was just made up...

You would think the world would have gotten a clue when Bush Sr. said "trickle-down economics is 'voodoo'" that Reagan was all about the rich and didn't give a damn about the rest.
