Friday!

It is Friday, that day I used to look forward to every work week. Today, started with a doctor visit, no bad news, and that is good. My vision is. Returning to normal after it was dilated, as I am able to work my iPad without problems.

Now I will proceed to Balboa Island and take a bike ride around that area and maybe even a ferry ride. We are under a high surf advisory, so waves at the Wedge ought to be awesome.

Oh well, lunch has be en eaten, now head out on another adventure on my way back to El Rancho...

It was funny to see your picture with the bike. For some reason, I thought you were a 30-yr old Gen Y guy.

I like you better now :)

lol, he may not be 30 but he's probably more Gen Y than a lot of 30 year olds!

I really love when you get to know someone online before seeing a pic, and you have assumptions that end up being far from reality. Although i try not to assume much any more, sometimes you just can't help the vague mental picture you get of someone. Many years ago i had become friends with a techie guy in New York who i pictured as your average geek - white, light brown hair, medium/slim build, glasses, ya know? He called me once or twice at work and i was surprised to hear more of a southern than New York accent. Then i saw his pic and was surprised to see he was a big black guy! I just had to laugh at my assumptions. Oh, and when i was on a listserv in the late 90's, more than once i was perceived as being male rather than female - probably because i was being rather assertive regarding political opinions. I loved that. At the same time i mistook a male for a female - he wrote from the heart and was unabashedly feminist. :)

I love the comments... I have a bad habit of never acting my age...it is the secret of life.
