the day...

The day is starting well, got a good phone call from a friend this morning. A nice wake up call.

Had a good breakfast, then moved a wind chime on the patio (thanks again [livejournal.com profile] gracegiver)... it sounds great in this area.

I cleaned up the kitchen a bit, made some fresh coffee and sat and watched my animals, the rabbits and birds that inhabit this place.

Cleaned a bike and changed tires in preparation for CicLAvia on April 15th in downtown Los Angeles.  Made a sale on Craigslist yesterday... one item down, many more to go. I'll list a few more items later this week as I prepare for the swap meet on Saturday. This swap meet will be a big thing for me as I will have a truck load plus maybe a trailer full to add. I'll have canning jars, juicers, and tools. I'll add a bunch of walkers and canes, some crutches, and some medical room stuff. I'll have a pile of miscellaneous bicycle parts too.

On thursday I will stop by one place here and purchase some more firewood. Best to be prepared. Listening to Pandora right now (Allison Krause channel).

Now to enjoy the day a bit more.

Oh, here in this valley I just have to say free and people come and get it. Around here I have all the stuff and people are basically liking things like free wood stoves, tools, clothes, etc. The nearest freecycle is in Temecula and most people won't drive up the hill even if it is free.
