Just back...

Just did a bicycle ride after many months off the bike. It felt good, took a few miles but ended up at my favorite Starbucks listening to two younger (early 20's) musicians discussing upcoming concerts and the local music scene. They were both looking forward to an upcoming event on the Queen Mary, I'll check if I can find more info. I think I read about it in livejournal.

This is the event I had read about and heard the discussion about at Starbucks. Other local news is that our local Pennylane record store will be closing mid-October. We lose a great music store, they will be missed.

You thought you'd seen the last of Darrell Issa? Now he's endorsing Arnold. Then there is Bill Simon, and he endorses Arnold. Arnold's campaign manager is Pete Wilson, the worst governor this state ever had. Yet people still want to vote for Arnold. Guess it is time that California to find out that the action hero is just another Bush clone. If you like what is happening to the economy, the environment, or to international relations, vote Arnold. If you happen to be an immigrant, watch out. Arnold feels that English should be the official language of California, forget bilingual education. Here is an immigrant that is anti-immigrant.

We have lost an artist who gave us one of the ground breaking videos of all time. Many a teenager spent hours watching MTV to see "Simply Irresistible'. Thank you Robert, Rock on....
