Dubya's time in Congress...
Jan. 24th, 2007 09:21 amWell, we saw the chimp smirk his way through another State of the Union speech. He didn't offer much, most of what he offered was a concession to the fact that he is a lame duck and is looking for a way to be an active participant in the governing process, something he will find new. No, King George is dead. He might as well go away and go back to Crawford early. Congress can call him if he is needed.
He's a little late on health care (his proposal sucks), his energy policy is a play to the agricultural lobby, his Iraq plan has no support. No, he has nothing to offer, and his legacy will be one of failure and lies. I hope he suffers the same fate as Nixon.
