pushing buttons and getting the blood to boil...
Isn't it evident that both parties tend to feed the information they feel will inspire our ire, get us upset and make us move? I've seen ignorance on the left and right, where facts are selectively released, and truth becomes the victim.
No, our political process is far from perfect, but it does work (sometimes). It hurts to lose, but I can see the hype defeating the truth this time. We will get the government we deserve, not the government we need.
on the bike...
I did something different today, I brought a bike to work. I took off at the beginning of lunch and took a quick tour of downtown, measuring how far I could roam for lunch and scoping out where I could park a bike.
While the first expedition took only 15 minutes, it looks promising. Within range I can find Mexican, a Subway, Quizno's, a couple of Asian places, a pastrami restaurant, and Pho.
Good mix, now to find a safe storage place for this bike.
the real story of Georgia...
This article dares to tell it like it is... Georgia was reckless, thought we'd jump in to save their ass, and now pays dearly for the blunder.
