I say Cold War... 

That's what you get when you back a bear into a corner. No, this will keep the Pentagon in business, boost the American economy (building and re-arming countries), and give an excuse for more soldiers (you got to have the cannon fodder).

Then there was 

kyburg and her discussion on racism. Yes it exists, and is very much alive in the narow minds of the electorate. Will McCain win? Probably. Will we have a Democratic Senate and House? Probably. Will voters ban gay marraige in California? Probably. Voters are very narrow minded and certain issues wil draw them to the polls.
