a quick post before the crash

A quick post to say that yesterday Mom had a meltdown (she had a bad Parkingson's day), the earth moved under my feet (4.1 earthquake), I didn't make it to work (my 'caregiver' had jury duty), my hernia is entering the phase where I have to consider surgery (it's annoying and I want it fixed), the economy sucks (yesterday was a day off without pay), and the DMV will never get their act together (it took tow trips for them to get an ID card right for my Mom).

Joe Lieberman wins... you lose.

Seems the Senate Democrats have little regard for voters and much regard to people like Joe Lieberman. Let's see.... Harry Reid is running again in 2010?

Replace the Democrats in Congress with Progressive Democrats.... Harry Reid is a disgrace. As one pundit on The Daily Kos commented, the Democrats in the Senate suffer from batter wife syndrome.  Joe Lieberman is a liar, an a disgrace.

Stop H8

Some find it a bit unusual to be targeting those who supported Prop 8. All I can say to that is bullshit! The millions from the Mormon 'Church' made the whole Yes on 8 campaign possible. Those businesses that provided support to Yes on 8 deserve to be boycott by anyone and everyone who wants to stop hate.

Freedom of Religion includes freedom from religion. Keep your religious dogma out of the political realm. I'm a very God loving guy, but I doubt that 'organized religion' ever has discovered the true meaning of God's word. If they had, why would there be so many flavors of 'Christianity'?

General Motors wants a bailout..

...so they send emails to customers asking that they lobby Congress to give a bailout to General Motors.... I read one of their emails to a coworker.. and I followed the link to this site.... You be the judge.. my opinion is let them go bankrupt.

what happened?

It seems that every time I try to open change.gov the browser doesn't like it. Any ideas?
