Staff meeting where I present what I learned from a recent seminar I attended in Ontario at the Hilton....

Presentation on a new asphalt product by a vendor seeking to have us adopt this product in our construction and design processes....

Phone calls to arrange meetings for kick off of another project and to discuss expansion of scope....

Work on street and drainage design of another street....

Work on another job order for another contract....

Take time this munch hour to visit benefits at the county offices across the street for Mom's health insurance.

Fill out another survey for GLAAD..

Take my meds... forgotten yesterday on the counter at home and I had to make a trip to a local pharmacy to get a one time supply.

Montana, a great place to visit... I really recommend that anyone take the time to visit all of Glacier National Park..... including the Canadian side...... Going to the Sun Highway is spectacular.

Transition... that is my time right now. I'm transitioning from a world of constant interaction to one of solitude.

Diginty... as we age some of us handle it well, others don't. It is dignity that we crave, to be seen as worthy souls, not as an old person to pity.

I have embraced solitude, my Mom sees it as a curse.

I know the power of self reflection, of touch, to touch, to share, to observe, to learn.

Preparing for the next transition will be the task to follow. What about my end time? Shall I leave this world a better place? What will be my mark? I can only hope I leave with dignity, with grace, and knowing it is just a transition to another realm, another dimension, another transition.

Have we been betrayed?

It seems that some if not most memebers of Congress hold the left in contempt, that is they are not for change, and pay only lip service to the progressive values that resulted in the massive power shift in Washington. I wonder if we need a 67,000,000 person march on Washington?
