the private armies and their threat to human rights and freedom

Seems we have more than one army, there is the 'all volunteer force' and then there are those private armies who do the dirty work for us.  They work for the CIA, the State Department, and for the Pentagon and do the deeds such as renditions, summary executions, and other nefarious duties. They are the biggest threat to our freedom and most likely who will be called on if and when the citizens wake up and rise up against tyranny. They will suddenly appear and have no qualms at killing people exercising their First Amendment Rights.  Worry about them, they are real and the thereat is real.

cyberwar

Something to think about.. there was a cuber attack against Iran and its nuclear development program by a cyberweapon, known at Stuxnet. This was not an amateur effort but a product that could only be made by a few countrues with the resources and knowledge to develop, test, and target this program to a specific location.  Now it has been released to the wild, and probably is now in the hands of others who with a bit of reverse engineering may be able to retaliate. Thanks to the original creator we are now living in an era of cyberwar. The article where this appeared features other often overlooked stories that flew below the radar.

Baby Trade...

This article points to some of the worst case scenarios of overseas adoption. It seems that there is so much to be questioned with the process, including how there children become the adoption material and how this has been corrupted by NGO's, governments, and the agencies that keep the trade going. There migth be a few good agencies but even they may be victim to unscrupulous officials who use this trade to make money.
