Christmas morning..

Nothing happening here folks... the sun rises.. and the day dawns. Did what I need to do this morning. Just approaching 40 degrees, supposed to be 59 degrees today. Made coffee, made some eggs, and am now sitting at the keyboard. Except for the religious significance of this day, life goes on. No presents here, no special dinner, I guess when you live in the boondocks you are away from all the commercial crap this season has become. I'll take a bike ride today along some rural roads, I'll stop at the Circle K market for a Lotto ticket, and prepare for the coming rain.

more observations...

This morning went for a walk... saw many quail, including a few brave ones that almost collided with me in flight. No rabbits out but considering they are a favorite toy of my dog, that is understandable. A lot of birds at the feeder, and a lot out on the ground enjoying thr new green growth. Went for a very short bike ride, then took the bike with me as I roamed around San Diego County. The hustle and bustle starts again tomorrow, accompanied by showers (maybe).
