bike stuff...more video

Went for another ride yesterday and did a video... and, because of the size of files, it will be in tow parts. I finally figured out a few things to correct, I need to pad the camera in the protective housing to eliminate the clicks you  hear and to raise the angle of view some more. I improved the audio gain, so you can hear me talk and huff and puff at times. Maybe another run today,,, and more video from that. Here is the link to part one....

the people protest the billionaires....

Seems the Koch brothers are planning a conference for billionaires in the Rancho Mirage area. There will be a Progressive counter gathering and protest on January 30th, 2011. The original story of the billionaire's summit is here.

Most of my readers aren't old enough to remember Dwight David Eisenhower... he was a president and former military man and he warned us about what we are seeing today.... the rise of the military industrial complex. It is not too late to rise up and stop those who want to kill democracy.

The United States Department of Agriculture just bailed out Domino's Pizza.... yes, they spent $12 million tax dollars to promote a pizza with more cheese..... when does the insanity stop? We are bailing out pizza parlors?

the free market manifesto

I stumbled upon this article in a comment section of a news article... it reads like a free market manifesto... this is the vision of the right... a 'free market' economy... to hel with a living wage or child labor laws... they are just getting in the way of increasing the bottom line.

now the words of John F. Kennedy to remind us what to watch for...

Earlier I was reminded of the speech by Dwight D. Eisenhower... and now I find myself listening to John F Kennedy and his words... history has a lot to teach us... if we listen. This speech needs to be heard by Obama in regards to the Wikileaks issue... Kennedy says it well, if only Obama will listen and heed his advice and counsel.
