A fitful night, and the small dog
(Duffy) is missing my Mom. I'll be out as soon as it gets lighter, got to add another grave to the property, in the years since my parent's moved here in 1974, a lot of dogs have come and gone. I might do a bit of dog shopping therapy today, stoping at the local Humane Society shelter and look at dogs.
Today, off to Hemet, check Mom's status and mental condition. I will return to Anza, as I have to get my life somewhat normal. I got some brush to haul, trash to haul, and while I have Mom not here, I can pitch stuff without her complaining. It will be a cool spring day.
I have to think preparedness, the Japan quake is a wake-up call. I live near a major fault, less than two miles from the San Jacinto fault. This fault has the ability to generate a 7.0 magnitude quake. I have food, water, and shelter. I'd stay here because I have ways to generate power, heat, and cook. I also have a very well equipped ham radio station and can operate anywhere. My heart goes out to those in Japan.
