neglecting....

Working this morning on some things around the house that have been neglected too long.  Did a lot of document shredding this morning, after I got up at 10 a.m. Looks like it may be another stormy day, as clouds are forming, and thunderstorms may be forming soon too.  After I do a token amount of work, I'll probably escape the heat for the midday session, and then resume work in the late afternoon. I had to put out a yellow jacket trap today as I had the nasty things buzzing around my deck. Next week marks my adventure on eBay, as I've got about 4 big ticket items to list. I'll be selling three grain mills (flour mills), all costing over $500 new, bit I expect them to go for around $250 each. I then will also be auctioning an amateur radio high frequency transceiver, a nice radio for those who want to really get into ham radio or want to do some sophisticated shortwave radio listening.  Then if those auctions are successful, I'll move on to Roseville pottery, cameras, and other 'junk' I have.

Oh well, back to doing some work before i go play.

Seems that I get more international spam on LiveJournal these days... anyone else have this problem? Most of it comes in the form of anonymous comment, which i screen so it never ses the light of day. Not a real problem, just an annoyance.

they are at it again...

The government is on the verge of another shutdown and the Tea Party is doing their thing again. All I can say is we need a new form of government and the members of Congress who  support these treasonous acts need to be held accountable for their actions.  I know in my area we have more than our share of idiots and nut cases who claim to  belong to the Tea Party or proudly display their Ron Paul for President signs. At least I will know who the enemy is when the revolution starts and will be prepared for whatever. Am I worried they might read this? Hell no... they will be screaming the loudest when the shit hits the fan and they don't get their government check.

When is the revolution?
