When you are alone and you die the vultures come out. Yesterday someone broke into Mary's trailer, ransacked it, looking for things to steal. They took a lot of jewelry she had made some tools and the coffee maker. The sheriff came out took a report and that was about it. Now I will be on the lookout for the perpetrator as we have a description. Someone described her as a blond tweeker and we have a tentative ID. She broke in by ripping the evaporative cooler out if a window and climbing in.

We have a new sheriff in town.

After a community meeting and a bitch session with the head of the local law enforcement we are seeing the changes. The sheriff is doing a better job and we are seeing the low lifes leaving the valley. We have also seen DEA raids. If we keep up the pressure and get more citizen involvement things will change.
