another day...

Sitting here transferring files from one portable drive (60Gb) to another (160 Gb). There supposed to be a fire alarm test this morning and I haven't heard it yet, probably spoke too soon, as it will blare in my ears soon enough.

Rain here. just wet rain, not a downpour.

Got bills to pay, stuff that ha to finish this week. I need to get some of the interns hustling on a project I have. Good help is hard to find.

What if they gave a holiday and no one paid attention? Doesn't everyone realize that Christmas has become a day to worship consumerism and consumption, not the birth of Christ. Some say the date was chosen to fit it to pagan custom, to get more people to pay attention. I guess it worked. Will we ever know the truth or is truth something we can't handle?

Oh well, back to the task at hand.

We get a phenomena in the desert areas called 'vega' when the rainevaporates before it hits the ground, all you get is humidity.
