we have a problem...

The Democrats are struggling to be so Republican because our 'bitter', bible thumping, gun totting, under educated, factory workers can't make up their small minds

I can see a race between Hillary and McCain, more war, more talk of war,and more promises that will be broken. We will have four more years of the same bullshit, the only thing different will be that the leader of the spin squad will call herself a Democrat.

The system, as it exists does not allow change. I don't see Obama being the nominee because he promotes change. No, he is under attack because he speaks the truth about the state of affairs, thus he will not be nominated.

No, it will take a revolution after the fall of the empire for things to change. There will be a lot of hard times before then.

The bitter electorate will have to be impacted where it hurts most before change occurs. Will the change be good? I doubt that anything driven by anger and frustration will be good.

It is true that change driven by anger and frustration is different than change driven by a desire for freedom. Thus, our revolution succeeded where the one in France did not. It is difficult to not feel concerned that a revolution may be the only answer, and that would occur at costs more than any of us want to imagine. I continue to hope there is a peaceful way to bring forth change, and that we will return to the constitution which has worked reasonably well for so long, since the Bushies, even with extreme media control and manipulation are being exposed for what they are. Now is when we need to pay even more astute attention.

It seems there is no way McCain can win, and yet, I said that both times on Bush. It is sobering indeed. Time to be outside and deal with weeds and growing things. No computers for the rest of the day, or, at least, an hour or two. :)
