The whole neo-con philosophy is founded on the principle of reducing government to a point that it does not function giving the neo-cons the platform to rebuild society into the oligarchy and the working class with government seving the oligarchy. Bush did his best to further those goals, tax cuts to the rich, cuts to social programs, his attempt to destroy social security and medicare, and empire building. We now must recover from that.
