This is Solana Beach's newest trail.... it runs along the railroad right of way that runs below grade... BTW, that is my bike leaning against the post.
Nice arches! This looks like a great trail for a ride. I miss my bicycle days, but I won't bicycle where people drive cars. Drivers are worse than ever thanks to cell phones. Their not supposed to use them, but they do. I have a friend with an infant who drives and uses her cell phone. She doesn't do that while I'm in the car now. I count her as an intelligent, responsible person, too.
I stopped because of bad drivers and worse pedestrians in NYC. I knew it was just a matter of time before I had a major accident. I had one minor one where I was cut off by a turning car. I was thrown over the car, but was unhurt except for a few bruises. I was lucky.
I gave away my bicycles except one, but I now realize that I'm not going to ride it. Pity, but it would be crazy here.
