Homelessness is a national disgrace. I used to commute through skid row of Los Angeles every day on my ride to an office just south of Downtown LA. There were a;ways people on the street and we have never addressed the problem

Now this appears... a home of sorts, designed for those who normally sleep on the streets, as there are many who pprefer to sleep outside rather than in a shelter. There is also the problem of too many homeless and not enough beds.

No one should have to suffer without a roof over their head.

It is beyond tragic and yes, is a disgrace.

I just looked at the "home". I don't even know what to say except again that it is tragic that it is so needed. I suppose it is a solution of sorts.

What a contrast though to this:

The divide continues.

those are awesome. But I think a lot of homeless would have issues with that closed in feel these would give them. I know there are "windows" to see out at night, but I wouldn't think they're enough.

I think they would have safety in numbers and they are designed for small groups to live in. They are also useful for shelters to expand bed space, by allowing 'owners' to park their 'edars' overnight.
