Britain is closing libraries

This may happen here.... I know from past experience, when budgets get tight, libraries suffer the cuts.  So, read the austerity program fallout from Britain and remember, it can happen here. To add fuel to this fire is the current anti-science, anti-intelligence feelings of Conservatives. Support your local library. Fight for it.

What is most depressing is the intent to deny educational possibilities so people can be even more easily manipulated. We have the luxury of being able to keep our local library open and supported but I worry about those places that don't.
