Another fine Truthout article... Libraries are important but are under attack.. this article looks into the value and purpose of our PUBLIC library system.

This may happen here.... I know from past experience, when budgets get tight, libraries suffer the cuts. So, read the austerity program fallout from Britain and remember, it can happen here. To add fuel to this fire is the current anti-science, anti-intelligence feelings of Conservatives. Support your local library. Fight for it.
