I look sceptically on the whole system of so called "democracy" around the World. Politicians, who forget interests of their people not only "corrupted", but first of all they serve interests of corporations and banks. And the deception of "elections" are just the part of "spectacle", when true power (corporations) put responsibility on fictive and temporary power (officials).
But the difference is that we saw alternative and the deception in our country is more rude, but in your country such deception is more complicated.
