Awake but not...

Guess I'm awake, but suffering from a bad head cold. Why is it that when the weather is beautiful outside I get a winter cold? This one is the worst one this year, but I take that back because the year is only 11 days old and I've had it that long. Now to shower, get dressed and start my journey through the streets of Orange County to my job as a dedicated public servant. I figure I can share my cold with my co-workers, and I have to get outdoors today and do some data collection in the field. More later....

Got the keys..

Still under the weather, and speaking of such, it was great today, it hit 84 degrees locally. Same for the weekend. Took off work at 2 p.m. with a sinus headache, and don't need to spread more germs around than are already circulating. Got the call, paid the rent (pro-rated for part of this month) and now have the keys. The studio on the island is mine! Now to find just the furniture and fixtures I want and the tools to turn this place into positive energy for my 'next' transformation. I've gone through youth, maturity, middle age, mid-life crisis (maybe still there), and now for a re-birth. I want the next years to acquire knowledge, harmony, and ready myself for a working retirement (why quit when you're having fun). Let's see what happens when i look back on this a year from now.

guess its time to call it a night, start moving tomorrow by getting rid of some stuff and moving one computer to my sister's place.
