More boxes

Did some packing, did some talking, to room mate that is. He asked me to leave the cable tv connected till the end of the month, as without it he will have nothing. I will change over the utilities next week to his name. I don't want my name associated with this address if he decides to bail on the place, he's just that desperate. What does one do with a person that has made a lifetime avocation of sponging off society in general? He will have no refrigerator to store food, maybe no gas for heat, no cable tv, no internet (he's been using my DSL), he might be able to make rent this month, but beyond that date, whatever...

Why is it that some people volunteer too much information? Why would a person tell an apartment manager that he might not be able to get the rent in on time? Why would that same person tell you he will stay there till he gets evicted? And that same person wanted you to let him use your six month old refrigerator?
