The work week has ended, been doing a lot of shit at work that is what I call the "dog and pony" kind of stuff, getting exhibits ready for a presentation to a public meeting.
When I asked when i could have some time to work on my projects, I was told i could use overtime. The problem is I don't like overtime, never did and never will. All overtime gets me is into a higher tax bracket, and add ruin to my limited social life.
I know some people live for overtime, they are either living beyond their means or have no life except for work. I'm not in that position, I'm very well paid, like my 40 hour work week, enjoy my time off mountain biking, fishing, or camping. That is my thoughts on the management philosophy of getting things done.
