it's been a while

Life is busy. Taking care of my Mom's situation, making sure things get paid, making sure the place is safe. Looks like I'll be taking ownership of the property, my Mom wants to do the transfer now, but I have to look at the tax implications, it may have to be a purchase to avoid a gift tax. I got to work the numbers. Then I'll be the second generation on the land, 2 1/2 acres, far from the city. We'll see.
