Ninety in the shade...

Such was most of the weekend, dry winds from all directions, sun shining without mercy. Installed an evaporative cooler for Mom, purchase the first phase of my bathroom remodels, new commodes. Seems that now the place will become mine someday, I'm investing a lot more time and energy, I think i will have earned it by the time I inherit it. Every morning I watch the rabbits and quail, the quiet is over-powering at times, looking up in a clear sky and seeing constellations, quite different from the Southern California I live daily. More to do, now to just get my act together for the rest of the weekend.

Relaxing...

I was just tasting th fine flavor of my Samuel Adams Boston Lager and realized how it really hit the spot after a day like today.

I was awake at 7 a.m., drove 40 miles to buy some supplies for 'el ranchito', drove to Petsmart to buy supplies for Bruno, did a bit of plumbing, did a bit of woodworking, moved my vehicles around the yard to make room for possible work on the well (no city water there folks), left there at 4 p.m via some mountain roads, fought my way along the freeways, now am at my apartment just feet from the Pacific Ocean enjoying a brew.
