back from the ranch

Livestock weekend, if you can consider goats and chickens livestock. Got my Mom some chickens so we could have real eggs, brought home a couple of her goats she had owned prior to my Dad's illness. She bonds with her animals, they are her tranquilizer. Got a new dog, named 'Bear', some sort of a mix, good disposition and keeps trespassers away. Got some more chains for the chainsaw, I'll wear that thing out yet. Now I'm filthy, tired, and about to hit the shower and get the barnyard dust off my body. Then I can tackle life in the big city before I have to show for work tomorrow.
