Working for the weekend

Then I work some more. Got brush (from the trees that were cut down) to haul, firewood to cut and split, errands to run, people to care for ( an elderly Mom), a mtn. bike ride maybe, service a chainsaw, repair the back steps, find some preservative for the wood deck, animals to feed (chickens, dogs, and a cat), miles to drive (hundreds), time to watch the quail in the driveway at dawn (if I don't sleep in), listen to the coyotes howl (at bedtime), charge a battery or two, do some cleaning in the barn, and sometime in between take care of the small details in my life. This is just the beginning.
