Sorry news

A close friend chatted with me the other night and told me some sad news, she had lost her job of over twenty years. Seems they needed to cut and she was the unlucky one that faced the cut. It's harder as she is now in a struggle to keep afloat and find a new career path, and as she is older than 50, she will face the demon of age discrimination. Too young to retire, but put out to pasture. I do not wish that fate on anyone.
