Just read Serendipity's survey answers. No surprises there. I'll borrow it from her and post it here, so here goes.

05. What was the last thing you ate? Breakfast: Tavern Ham, two eggs medium, homefries, coffee, peaches. (I went to the Shorehouse Cafe for breakfast).

07. Where do you plan to go on your honeymoon? I don't plan to get married again. (ditto, been there, done that)

08. How is the weather right now? Cool, sunny, high clouds.

10. What's the first thing you notice about the opposite sex? Eyes, voice, attitude.

11. Do you like the person that you borrowed the survey from? Yes, and she borrowed it from someone else.

12. How are you today? Lazy, but wanting to do some bicycling.

13. What's your favorite drink? Most flavors of Sobe.

14. Your favorite alcoholic drink? White wine. Margaritas in summer.

15. How do you eat an Oreo? Rarely, but dipped in milk or hot cocoa.

16. Favorite sport to watch? cycling.

17. What's the next CD you're going to get? Maybe the new one from Santana.

18. Hair color? gray with a bit of black still showing.

20. Do you wear contacts? No. Just glasses. Guess I'm so used to them I cannot see myself without them.

22. Favorite food? Maine lobster.

Another entry..

Road trip didn't happen. Spent a rainy Saturday helping my Mom. Drove home late last night and spent some time at the computer winding down before I went to sleep. Got to get my affairs in order, did my will on the computer using a software package, now have to get it signed and witnessed. Got to work on my living trust and get those items in order as I want to be as prepared as my Dad was in that department. Maybe I'll wash the car today, have Monday off. Was thinking of a drive to Santa Barbara along the coast as a way to relax, sort of a mini road trip, at least to Ventura. Guess I'll close now and do that. maybe I'll share some photos later.

The Mini Roadtrip...

Went north on California 1, past the seedy side of Long Beach, then Wilmington, then Lomita, then the trendy beach towns, Redondo, Hermosa, Playa Del Rey, Marina Del Rey, Venice, Santa Monica. The sea was blue, the surf heavy, a little bite to the air. Now to download and edit the pictures. Maybe a post later.
