Dec. 22nd, 2002

For the time I'm back to my place, went to Anza to take care of a few things that upset my Mom, the holidays are hard this year. Got a Christmas card from my sister, she asked how Mom was doing, that's about all she cares. Got a bunch of chores to do for today, got to clean house, do laundry, buy some food for my cupboards, plus do a bit of simple things like find the vegetables I want, from brussel sprouts to yellow turnip (rutabaga) for the holiday meal. Also got to shop for some tires for the truck, and possibly another car, this time with an automatic transmission so my Mom can drive or find a driver. Why is it that so many people cannot drive a standard transmission?
The Santa walking through the farmer's market says "if you put on a few pounds and let your beard and hair grow longer you could have my job." I wonder.
People start their laundry and then never return on time to change the laundry from the washer to the dryer and hold everyone else up.
Finally getting the laundry done, but overall feel like a lazy day. Next work day is Thursday the 26th.
Took a walk to the end of the block and here's the link to a picture... one of two..follow the links.
