Lazy

It is a lazy Sunday, went to the farmers market to get some produce, ate breakfast at the beach in my car, while watching the surfers battle riptides and large storm surf. Just finished the Sunday paper, made a few phone calls including canceling my surgery till some other time when my life is in less turmoil. A friend of mine offered some Reiki, as a pre-surgery treatment. She's a holistic practitioner and RN. I may take her up on that. Need to work on registering my 'new' SUV.

Update...breaking news

Cookie, our small dog that was attacked and injured surprised us by surviving the night. She got up today and did a small bowel movement on the living room rug, but considering the circumstances, she's excused. She'll get a trip to the vet tomorrow for a check up and to determine the prognosis.

'Cookie" is gone...

I just received a call from my Mom and she told me that Cookie passed away from her injuries. I'll miss the dog that has been a part of my family for more than 10 years. Sometimes when you lose a pet it really hurts and this does. She was my Mom's constant companion. I don't know how my Mom will handle it.
