Day week month this has been. Just passed my local ARCO, $1.98.9 for regular unleaded. Thank you George Dubya!
I was wondering when el nino was going to hit, and it has come to Southern California. Spent Wednesday home nursing a sore throat, spent today taking Mom to the doctor, and made another appointment for her next week. Got to keep her healthy as I don't need to lose the only parent I have left.
Did have the opportunity to use the 4X4 today, first was navigating about 1/4 mile of mud to get to my Mom's place and also was using 4 wheel drive as I drove home over one pass, running in about 2 inches of snow, with a CHP 4X4 running just ahead of me. It was beautiful, snow covered trees, snow flakes falling all around, just needed a nice warm fire and something warm to drink.
