The past...

When I was a youngster, we had civil defense drills, McCarthyism had evolved into the John Birch Society. There was the Iron Curtain, Communists were lurking everywhere, and Capitalism was our way of life. Now we see the fall of the Iron Curtain, there are very few communists left, and the ugly face of Capitalism has appeared. We have wars to gain oil reserves and to gain economic superiority. We have the rich rewarded while the common man suffers. We have massive depletion of resources to produce product for the consuming masses. We have trading cartels, the World Trade organization, the World Bank, and multinationals.

Have we been duped into becoming the slaves of the corporate kings? Is Capitalism the new enemy?
