Something's happening here. And it is very clear that Congress knew what it
was doing. Remember that elections are only a few years away. Remember that
power corrupts. Remember that absolute power corrupts absolutely. How do you
remain in power when people are becoming wise to your methods of cheating?
You instill fear. After hearing the talk on NPR with John Yoo, the man
behind some of these draconian measures, it is abundantly clear that policy
being formulated has a hidden agenda. I figure we will all find out too
soon.
